I-95 runs directly along the southern edge of Newark, Delaware, providing major north–south interstate access through New Castle County.
It links Newark to Wilmington, Christiana, Philadelphia, Baltimore, and the broader East Coast corridor.

Delaware Route 896 (DE-896)

DE-896 runs through the center of Newark, serving as one of the city’s primary north–south routes.
It connects Newark to Glasgow, Middletown, and the Maryland state line, and also provides access to I-95.
